2021 | Quarter Three at JJW STUDIO

 

As Sydney endured its third lockdown from the beginning of quarter three at JJW STUDIO, we continued to work away crafting content for a range of brands and agencies, including Spotify for Fourth Wall and Guide Dogs Australia with Polkadot Communications.

loveAudio | The Brand Opportunity with Spotify ANZ

Our mates at Fourth Wall approached us to craft and handle the motion portion of a long-form streaming show called loveAudio for Spotify ANZ. LoveAudio is an event series that explores the power of digital audio and how brands can leverage Spotify to reach their audience. 

JJW STUDIO filmed and edited the 45-minute show hosted by Myf Warhurst at a remote studio in Melbourne, where she interviewed a handful of in-studio guests from Spotify’s Director of Sales Adrian Bingham to PepsiCo’s Digital & E-Commerce Manager Gill McHattie. Strung throughout each interview were a handful of pre-recorded performances from Remi Wolf and animated case studies. 

We were tasked with assigning a nimble crew from our extensive supplier list, liaising with Fourth Wall to ensure a safe shoot day, and coordinating the filming across three sets in the Sydney studio space and the remote studio in Melbourne, which you can view below.

We had a tight turnaround of 5 days to complete the show ready for release, which would play out via Zoom for invitees. Throughout the editing process, we were tasked to place the video feed from Myf in Melbourne on a TV screen throughout two set-pieces, colour grade each interview, sound mix the entire show, and add custom graphics. We’re thrilled with the final result! 

 
 

Guide Dogs Australia x Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health

Polkadot Communications approached JJW STUDIO to highlight the partnership between Guide Dogs Australia and Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health across two videos. The aim of this consumer piece was to help raise awareness of the NexGard SPECTRA products available on the market and their effectiveness in keeping pups happy and healthy. ⁠

To help showcase the partnership between Guide Dogs Australia and Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health, we headed down to the Guide Dogs Centre in Glossodia NSW to capture head vet Caroline Moeser, where she discussed the importance of parasite protection.⁠⁠

When crafting this video series, we adhered to our high-quality, stylised, and impactful approach to content creation. While capturing an emotional story, it was also imperative to us that we set the right brand tone authentic to both Guide Dogs Australia and Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health.⁠⁠

Within this series of videos, we were also tasked with crafting a corporate lead piece where Andrew Palmer, CEO of BIAH, and Dale Cleaver, CEO of Guide Dogs Australia, spoke to the strengths and longevity of the partnership.
