Melding visual imagery to accelerate Jason Ree's social strategy

Last year's Marketing Strategy & Trends survey from HubSpot found that more than 85% of consumers value visuals and video highly when choosing a retailer or brand. Therefore, brands must have a distinct visual identity across all digital marketing channels when promoting campaigns and products.

Digital marketing agency Digivizer engaged JJW STUDIO to support the creation of over one hundred visual assets for this social campaign. Read on to learn how we helped the crafting of stunning visuals and compelling structure to arrest attention for both Digivizer and Jason Ree.

Jason Ree is a Multi-Award Winning Australian Jewellery Designer

Jason Ree boasts the largest selection of precious metal Mokume-Gane, a 300-year-old Japanese technique created for the samurai's sword handle. It is an art form for jewellery made from multiple layers of steel, gold and silver folded together by hand in a complex forging process to create unique patterns on the metal's surface.

Content to Accelerate Commodification & Distinction

Regarding luxury brands, creating a distinction in branding and marketing messages is imperative. Capturing luxury products or services requires a detailed and high-end approach to accelerate commodification and distinction from competitors. In the case of Jason Ree, they needed stunning product and artistry photography supported by storytelling-rich videos to capture the uniqueness of Mokume Gane rings.

Before our collaboration, it was apparent that Jason Ree required a refreshment of their creative assets – and we highly recommend your creative assets are given a refresh every six months outside of your campaign-driven initiatives.

Before our engagement, Jason Ree had assets that didn't reflect the brand authentically and the artistry that goes into crafting Mokume Gane rings.

Moulded to Perfection

When Digivizer approached us to support the creation of assets for this project, we became excited because crafting for luxury brands is our forte. Once the Digivizer team briefed us, we began our creative research and strategy phase by brainstorming ideas and analysing competitors, which informed us of a distinctive approach to the central vision.

Filmed over a singular shoot day, we had a dedicated team for video and a separate team for photography. We scheduled the shoot day to the very finest of details to ensure we captured our reverse brief with all crew and talent.

From the shoot day, we handled the entire post-production phase across video and photography efficiently and delivered all assets within several weeks of the shoot day.

100+ distinctive creative assets

JJW STUDIO heralded the production process to deliver over one-hundred distinctive video and photo assets for Digivizer. The content was deployed across Jason Ree's website, social channels, and paid media efforts. Take a look below!

Partnership Praise

Our partnership with Digivizer continues to strengthen with each project. We thoroughly enjoy collaborating with the entire team and appreciate their willingness to engage new approaches to content production.

"When creating a strong digital strategy, you need great creativity that helps build a brand and an emotional connection. We have worked with Josef and JJW STUDIO for many years now, and they are the best at capturing beautiful stories that create great outcomes for brands. They are creative, super organised, professional, and mindful of the objective we are driving."
